Saiyaara is setting new records on Netflix after its digital release on 12 September. The Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer, directed by Mohit Suri, clocked an impressive 3.7 million views within just three days of streaming.
The film quickly climbed to the top of Netflix’s global non-English charts. With 9.3 million viewing hours in its opening weekend, Saiyaara has become one of the most-watched Indian films on the platform this year, strengthening its blockbuster status.
Trending at number one in India, Pakistan, UAE, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Oman, Bahrain, and Mauritius, the film continues to attract international attention. Its mix of music and romance seems to be connecting strongly with global audiences.
Already the highest-grossing Indian romantic film with over ₹570 crore at the worldwide box office, Saiyaara’s OTT success proves its appeal beyond theatres. Whether it maintains momentum after the release of Aryan Khan’s The Ba***ds of Bollywood on 18 September remains to be seen.
