The John Abraham starrer drama ‘The Diplomat’ will soon be streaming on OTT. It will be premiering on Netflix on the 9th of May.
The movie did not work out very well in theaters but there is still hope left for it on OTT. We have seen it happen many times before that even though a film does not get its due recognition in theaters, it is later appreciated on OTT.

‘The Diplomat’ has gotten some good reviews and it is one of the best dramas to come out in Hindi in recent times. The performances are wonderful and John Abraham being back in a patriotic film is really a treat to watch.
It tells the story of an Indian diplomat who tries to repatriate an Indian girl from Pakistan, who was allegedly married against her will.

There are chances that the movie will find the audiences it was meant for now. Netflix has great international reach as well, so it is possible that The Diplomat finds some engagement abroad as well.
The platform should keep on doing promotional posts for the movie and once it is released, the word of mouth will work for itself.
