After keeping their relationship largely away from the spotlight for over two years, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have officially tied the knot.
The couple got married on Sunday in an intimate ceremony held at Aamir’s residence in Mumbai’s Bandra, surrounded by close friends and family members.
This brings an end to weeks of speculation after the actor had recently revealed that he and Gauri planned to formalize their relationship through a registered marriage followed by a private celebration.
The guest list included Aamir’s children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, who were among the first to arrive.
Meanwhile, longtime friend and filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker was also seen attending the ceremony.
Other guests spotted at the celebrations included Elli Avram, Irfan Pathan, Raj Thackeray, and Vir Das.
Aamir and Gauri‘s love story dates back much further than many realize.
The two first met nearly 25 years ago but reconnected in Bengaluru in 2024 through Aamir’s cousin, Nuzhat Khan.
What began as a reunion eventually blossomed into a relationship.
Later, Aamir publicly introduced Gauri as his partner during his 60th birthday celebrations in March 2025.
At the time, Aamir had admitted that he felt “settled” with Gauri, although he had not planned on marrying again.
Over the past year, Gauri moved to Mumbai with her son from a previous marriage, and the couple have reportedly been living together.
She has also become actively involved with Aamir Khan Productions, which recently completed 25 years.
This marks Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira.
Following their separation, Aamir married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple welcomed their son Azad through surrogacy in 2011 before parting ways in 2021.
Despite their separation, Aamir and Kiran have remained close collaborators and continue to co-parent their son.
