Diwali Releases Inching Towards 100 Cr Club

The highly anticipated movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has hit the screens and already won over several hearts. More than that, the Karan Johar directed film is on its way to enter the 100 crore club. Releasing on the same day, the Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Shivaay’ is also not too far behind. Both the films released on Diwali this year and garnered over 10 crores on their first day.

‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, despite facing several problems on its way to the silver screens, has made about Rs 80.19 cr crores in domestic market while Shivaay has earned a total of Rs 70.41 crores in a week. Posted figures shows both films slowly inching towards 100 crore club.

Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is a serious film which revolves around the story of a father trying to save his daughter.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, on the other hand, talks about friendship, love, loss, and heartbreak and features big stars like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Fawad Khan.
