While Rajesh Khanna has been Akshay’s father-in-law, R D Burman shared a close connection with the India’s first superstar’s family, including Twinkle Khanna and Dimple Kapadia. A source stated that Akshay is excited to play the role since he was a fan of his father-in-law. The movie is going on the floors in October 2026, and Akshay will be shooting for ten days.
