Star Heroine’s PR Trying to Steal Akshay Kumar’s Credit?

Akshay Kumar Ucha Lamba Kad Forever

The promotions for Welcome to the Jungle have started. A new song, titled Ucha Lamba Kad Forever, was released a few days ago, and it is a recreation of a song from Anees Bazmee’s cult comedy film, released in 2007.

While the song received a mixed response, many said that it was Akshay Kumar’s presence and the voices of the original singers that brought back the memories of the popular track. However, a new situation has now grabbed a lot of attention.

Online sources have stated that the PR team of Katrina Kaif, the lead actress of Welcome, is reportedly trying to bring down Akshay. Moreover, the alleged intention is targeting the new song and getting credit only for Katrina.

Notably, multiple outlets have analysed the new track over the last few days, and most of them stated that it is impossible to recreate what Katrina did in the original song. Some even stated that the track belongs to Katrina only. This has led to speculations that the actress’s PR team might have been involved in activities that they should not have been.

Online users reacted to the reports, criticising Katrina’s PR team and the actress at the same time. Most of them asked why the PR team was so ungrateful, despite the fact that the end of the new song clearly remembered Katrina Kaif with a dialogue from Akshay Kumar.

A few said that Disha Patani is clearly able to match Katrina Kaif and has also brought some glamour, which is necessary for such films. On the other hand, Katrina’s fans stepped in to support her, saying that Katrina had contributed to the success of the original song, and instead of thanks, she deserved a cameo in the track.

The ongoing controversy has somehow helped to generate some buzz for the upcoming sequel. But it remains to be seen if the new version will emerge as a chartbuster like the original song.
