A good actor always needs a splendid director to pave the way for maximum output. Priyadarshan did just that with Akshay Kumar. The duo has worked on films like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, and Khatta Meetha.

The much-awaited project involving these two legends titled ‘Bhoot Bangla’ is now in the works with the shooting schedule officially under process. Now what to expect from this horror-comedy ride? Will it be another one of those nostalgic and quirky movies which were solid hits through the 2000s or will it be another failed reboot just like Hungama 2?

As the current situation of comedies is not quite well in the country, fans would love to experience the nostalgia and relive the magic of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar once again after 14 years. As for both personalities, their careers are not on a good path as of now.
While Priyadarshan’s last attempt at comedy in Hungama 2 was a massive failure, nothing seems to work for Akshay Kumar on the other hand. This might be his last option to deliver a massive hit as he aims to turn back the clock to a time when he used to deliver consistent hits with the legendary director.
