As she represented India at the global event, PR agencies simultaneously began sharing videos of Ranbir Kapoor taking care of their daughter, Raha.

Though the video seemed like a classic “husband material” brag about Ranbir, fans weren’t buying it.

Aside from a few who aww-ed at the father-daughter moment, many pointed out that it was literally the bare minimum—a father taking care of his child.

They criticised how media outlets and PR agencies set the bar so low that something as basic as a man parenting his own child is made to look like an extraordinary act.

They argued that if Alia were taking care of Raha while Ranbir was at work, such videos would hardly surface. It reflects a deeper mindset of how women are still seen as the default caregivers, while men doing the bare minimum are celebrated.
