Baaghi 4 BO: Offers & Bulk Bookings Couldn’t Save?

Baaghi 4 box office opening struggle

The Baaghi franchise appears to have lost its spark. Baaghi 4 opened with just about Rs 11 crore on Day One, the weakest among the series. The figure is close to Baaghi’s 2016 opening of Rs 11.94 crore but far below expectations.

The series peaked with Baaghi 2, which made Rs 25 crore on its first day. Since then, numbers have slipped. Baaghi 3 collected Rs 17.34 crore in pre-Covid March 2020. Despite no big competition, Baaghi 4 has failed to rise above.

Trade experts say the Day One figures may not reflect reality. Reports suggest the producers themselves bulk booked tickets to inflate numbers. Offers like flat 50% discounts and buy-one-get-one-free schemes further reduced real footfalls.

The bigger concern is why Sajid Nadiadwala continues backing the series. Observers believe it is a mix of faith in Tiger Shroff’s action image and an unwillingness to let go. Yet, repetition in storytelling is turning audiences away instead of drawing them in.

While loyalty keeps the brand alive, the franchise now feels like a stubborn creative choice. Despite buzz around Baaghi 5, the weak start of Baaghi 4 signals that survival will require reinvention, not just courage, or risk fading out entirely.
