While Param Sundari is drawing audiences to theatres with expectations of fun and freshness, fans on social media have raised concerns about Siddharth Malhotra’s career. Many feel he is stuck in a loop and has not shown much artistic growth.
They acknowledged that films like Ittefaq, Brothers, and Shershaah were strong choices, but Param Sundari made them feel his evolution as an actor has been limited. Some argued that Shershaah gained fame due to its patriotic theme, while much of his popularity rests on looks.
The debate quickly extended to other actors whose careers, according to fans, appear stagnant. Aditya Roy Kapur rose to fame with Aashiqui 2 but has often been typecast as a “city boy,” most recently in Metro… In Dino, without much visible growth.
Varun Dhawan also came under discussion. Fans noted his career lacks direction, as he alternates between comedies like Judwaa 2 and Main Tera Hero and serious films such as October and Badlapur. They believe better script choices could elevate him as a major star.
Tiger Shroff faced similar criticism. While he is admired for his action skills, audiences feel his films rely too much on stunts without emotional depth. Choosing layered roles could help him gain wider recognition beyond his action hero image.
These actors have all enjoyed fan support and delivered strong performances at different points in their careers. But many believe selective scripts and better planning could have positioned them as the next big stars of Bollywood.
