Bhooth Bangla initially created strong excitement as it marked the reunion of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar. However, recent trends suggest that the buzz around the film is slowly declining.
The main concern is the teaser, which received a mixed response. Instead of building hype, it left many fans unsure about the film’s overall quality and appeal.
The first single Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge also received an average response. While it was appreciated by some, it did not go viral or create strong momentum for the film.
Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan have been actively promoting the film. In interviews, they addressed the competition from Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh.
Akshay Kumar stated that he personally liked the film and believes a 21 day window is enough to reach audiences. He also mentioned that the competition may not significantly affect Bhooth Bangla.
He further highlighted that Dhurandhar 2 targets a more mature audience, while Bhooth Bangla is designed as a family entertainer suitable for all age groups.
Despite these points, the drop in buzz is becoming noticeable. The team may need strong promotions and content to regain audience interest before release.
Earlier predictions suggested an opening of around 25 crores on day one. However, current trends indicate that achieving this figure could be challenging.
With release approaching, the film’s performance will depend on how well it reconnects with audiences in the coming days.
