WAR 2 Disaster: All Hopes on AK, Rashmika, Ranveer

After the disaster of WAR 2, Bollywood audiences are looking at the rest of 2025 with a mix of doubt and hope. The Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR starrer was expected to dominate the box office but failed to deliver, leaving fans deeply disappointed.

Now, attention shifts to upcoming films that carry both star power and strong creative teams. Topping the list is Jolly LLB 3, which reunites Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi along with Saurabh Shukla, Huma Qureshi, and Annu Kapoor. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the courtroom drama promises satire and entertainment.

Thama, scheduled for Diwali 2025, brings Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna together. Produced by Maddock, it dives into the horror-comedy genre. With Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the antagonist and Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role, the film is expected to add variety to the festive season.

In action-drama, Dhurandhar stands out as a big release. Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, it also features Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Early glimpses suggest an intense story packed with scale and adrenaline.

Aanand L. Rai’s Tere Ishk Mein adds romance to the lineup with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. Supported by Prabhu Deva’s choreography, the film is anticipated to bring freshness to the love story format.

Completing the slate is De De Pyaar De 2, with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet returning for a mix of family drama and humour. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the sequel also includes Tabu, R. Madhavan, Alok Nath, and Jimmy Shergill.

Despite the failures earlier in the year, these films hold the promise of revival. With diverse genres, powerful casts, and strong creative direction, Bollywood’s second half of 2025 may well become its shot at redemption.
