Chhaava’s 500 Cr Puts Extreme Pressure On War 2?

Chhaava has emerged as the first blockbuster of this year. While the film is still doing amazing business at the box office, it has put a lot of pressure in the upcoming big films scheduled to be released in the next few months. One of them is War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR.

Chhaava has grossed Rs. 450 crores so far and it is expected to touch the mark of Rs. 500 crores. War 2 has the potential to touch this mark, but only on the Pan-India level. It will be difficult for the film to collect the same number completely in Hindi.

Notably, the makers of War 2 are doing everything to ensure that the film turns out to be another blockbuster. They specifically brought in Jr. NTR to play the main villain and to keep the excitement alive among everyone, the makers have not disclosed NTR’s look or any other details from the film until now.

War 2 will also mark Hrithik’s return to the big screen after Fighter. His character Kabir accumulated a different kind of fanbase, specifically for his looks when the first film was released back in 2019.

Audiences are expected to book their tickets at least for Hrithik Roshan and the hype created by the sequel based on the reports coming out about the action sequences. On the other hand, people are expected to be attracted to the film if NTR’s character and personality in the promotional material manage to impress everyone.

Apart from all these, the trailer for War 2 also needs to leave an impact in terms of style and scale and has to be better than War. Even if certain factors hint that the film might turn out to be one of the highest-grossing films for this year, the choice of director has also raised questions about its overall potential.

Ayan Mukerji is handling a complete action film for the first time. But everyone knows that Ayan is perfect for directing romantic stories. Now only the trailer will reveal if Ayan will manage to create some magic on the big screen.
