Dhadak 2 is all set to release next week on August 1, 2025, and a new promo has been released on July 25, 2025. Just like the teaser, the promo looks impressive and might contribute to the film’s success.
Notably, the new video, which runs for around 53 seconds, shows Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri having a conversation, where the latter questions why the guy is not coming to the college anymore, not answering the girl’s calls, and telling her to leave at the same time.
The guy tells her that his phone is not working, and the girl questions him about his feelings for her. However, the guy seems to be confused. This is followed by some shots where the lead characters have to confront and fight with their people and deal with humiliation to be together in the end.
The fate of this love story will be revealed when the film arrives on August 1. But for now, it looks like the film will feature sequences that will be hard-hitting and leave an impact on the hearts and minds of everyone.
However, a tragic ending will not be a good option since audiences are now getting used to happy endings. While the theme of the film is something that does not exist anymore, it is the content that is supposed to leave an impression alongside the songs.
The soundtrack has not emerged as a big chartbuster. But the singles are still trending on YouTube. Although Dhadak 2 will be facing competition with Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2, on the same day, it seems like the latter will be getting a tough fight.
In case the word-of-mouth is extremely positive, the film might witness a big jump by the weekend. With a budget of Rs. 45 crores, Dhadak 2 might bring some good news for the box office if audiences love the film.
