Disha Patani and Pooja Hegde are two actresses who have worked alongside some of Indian cinema’s biggest stars, but their careers have been a mixed bag of hits and misses. Neither has been able to achieve consistent stardom despite working in big-budget projects.

Disha Patani’s latest appearance in Kalki 2898 AD, a big-budget sci-fi movie starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, made headlines for the wrong reasons. Though the film performed well at the box office, Disha’s performance as Roxie and her on-screen romance with Prabhas were both slammed.

Pooja Hegde, however, featured alongside Salman Khan in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Though she explained that her character was an important part of the movie’s storyline, everyone else thought the film was another Salman centric movie where Pooja’s involvement was overshadowed. In spite of her beauty and talent, the film did nothing much for her career.
