Actress Puts an End to Cleavage Criticism

Popular actress Disha Patani recently attended the Filmfare 2017 awards and looked gorgeous in a black dress. However, the dress, which had cleavage cut out design, caught more attention than needed. The actress was endlessly bashed and slut-shamed for the cleavage-baring dress and when enough was enough, Disha raised her voice to slam those shamers.

Disha took to her Instagram, where her Filmfare outfit image received the outrageous comments, to voice her opinion regarding the matter. Disha found it crucial to share a post which contained the important message that “it’s easier to judge a woman on the basis of how much they cover up their skin, but it’s hard to accept your own cheap mentality where you can’t stop staring at those inappropriate areas which you are asking her to cover!”

Continuing on her message, Disha asked her followers to get real and accept that “[we] will not anybody’s idea of an ‘Indian girl’… Stop this hypocrisy and open your mind!”
