A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed in Bikaner, Rajasthan, against renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and two others. The complaint alleges fraud, breach of trust, and inappropriate behaviour.
The FIR was registered based on a complaint by a local man. He claims that Bhansali’s production team entered into a contractual agreement which was not honoured.
As per reports, the dispute is connected to Bhansali’s upcoming film Love and War, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
The complainant alleges that certain terms of the agreement were not fulfilled. He has also accused the filmmaker’s team of misbehaviour during their interactions.
Police have filed the case under sections related to cheating and criminal breach of trust. The matter is currently under preliminary investigation, and no arrests have been made so far.
The production team of Love and War has not yet released an official statement regarding the allegations.
Industry sources suggest that such contractual disputes are not unusual in film production and are often resolved privately or outside of court.
The Rajasthan Police will now take further statements from both sides before deciding the next steps.
Meanwhile, Love and War, which has already attracted major attention due to its star-studded cast, continues its production as planned.
