Another song from Akshay Kumar starrer Welcome To The Jungle titled “Ghis Ghis” is out and it immediately started getting heavily trolled online for its cringey picturization and cheap production values.
Even Akshay Kumar’s loyal fans are unhappy with this track because they believe it will drive people away from theaters instead of bringing them in to watch the movie. The “Ghis Ghis” song features Akshay Kumar and Akshara Singh trying to do Bhojpuri dance steps, but instead of feeling like a real tribute, the whole thing looks like a cheap mockery of the Bhojpuri film industry.
For a big comedy movie like Welcome, this kind of song feels completely out of place. The makers thought that turning Akshay into a Bhojpuri hero would connect with masses but this idea is very risky because if the parody goes too far, audiences in B and C centres might feel insulted. It feels like the makers think people of UP and Bihar only listen to such low standard music. Moreover, the video of the song is neither entertaining nor raunchy.
Experts also feel this track will do nothing to help the movie because the excitement for Welcome To The Jungle is already quite low. The title track dropped few days ago and went totally unnoticed. With interest dropping, it looks like only a very good trailer can save this big comedy from becoming a flop.
The downfall of Akshay Kumar needs to be studied
4 hit film in a year to 4 flop in a year
What is this? C grade movie with cheap lyrics?
Man has such potential and wasting doing C grade movies, I know he wants to earn money but this is ridiculous pic.twitter.com/LGwovQCPOX
