While Bollywood is busy churning out sequels to once-popular films like Housefull, Golmaal, and Welcome, fans have taken to the internet to share how they really feel about this trend.
There’s a long lineup of franchise films coming up, Golmaal 5, Welcome to the Jungle, Son of Sardaar 2, among many others. Some may meet expectations, while others could end up as total failures.

Titles like Ra.One and Chandni Chowk to China, which have gained cult followings over the years, were also brought up.
While some fans pitched ideas for sequels to films like Sarfarosh, Delhi Belly, Dil Chahta Hai, Mr. India, and Andaz Apna Apna, others debated that certain classics are better left untouched.
This year alone, sequels like War 2, Dhadak 2, Metro… In Dino and Welcome to the Jungle are lined up, with even more slated for the coming years.
While nostalgia may help some of these films perform decently, fans are demanding sequels backed by solid storytelling, not just lazy cash grabs to boost producer profits.
