According to him Shah Rukh Khan’s legendary status is not just because of his acting skills but because of the connection he has with the audience – something that goes beyond talent and script choices.
This is not to undermine Ranbir Kapoor’s achievements which are big in their own right.
Ranbir is widely respected for his versatility and depth as an actor.
But Ahlawat’s comments remind us that stardom is a rare phenomenon, it’s built on charisma, timing and an almost magical bond with the audience.
It’s a reminder that while acting excellence is celebrated the aura of a true superstar is built on something more intangible – something Shah Rukh Khan has mastered and something every new generation aspires to.
