Kiara Advani has spoken out after an old interview resurfaced online in a misleading way. She corrected the narrative, making it clear that her remarks about Kareena Kapoor Khan were taken out of context.
The original clip came from promotions of her 2019 film Good Newzz. At the time, Kiara had casually praised Kareena’s confidence and aura, saying those were traits anyone would admire. The remarks were light and made during their film promotions together.
Recently, a page called Bolly Masala shared a photo of Kiara with Kareena, suggesting that Kiara wanted her newborn daughter to inherit Kareena’s qualities. This framing sparked unnecessary chatter.
Kiara, who welcomed her first child with Sidharth Malhotra in July 2025, immediately objected. She said dragging an old interview into her motherhood journey was careless. Her firm words-“kindly stop putting old interviews out of context”- made her stance clear.
Such incidents highlight how Trollers and pages recycle outdated content for clicks, ignoring accuracy. For celebrities, this often shifts focus from real work to needless clarifications.
With films like War 2 and her Kannada debut Toxic ahead, Kiara’s message drew a line. She reminded everyone that admiration expressed years ago cannot be reframed as a present-day statement.
