Actor and reviewer Kamaal R Khan was arrested by the Oshiwara police for his alleged connection to a two-round firing incident. The incident reportedly took place earlier this month in Mumbai’s Andheri area. The case has since drawn significant attention online.
After the arrest, KRK was remanded to three days of police custody. His lawyer has strongly denied the allegations. He claimed that Kamaal R Khan is being deliberately targeted by influential figures from the Bollywood film industry.
According to the lawyer, the entire case has been fabricated. He stated that KRK has been falsely implicated and that several big names in Bollywood are pressuring the police. These claims have added another layer of controversy to the case.
Police records mention that KRK confessed to cleaning the guns and firing them unintentionally. However, his lawyer countered this by pointing out the distance between KRK’s home and the Nalanda building. He stated that the location is around 400 meters away, making the shooting impossible from his residence.
The lawyer further asserted that Kamaal R Khan has no connection with the firing incident. He maintained that there is no link between the alleged offence and the accused. The defence continues to challenge the prosecution’s claims.
Due to KRK’s outspoken online presence and his negative reviews of Bollywood films on YouTube, many users have supported his lawyer’s statements. KRK has frequently criticised Salman Khan in videos and tweets, leading to speculation about possible involvement.
With both sides presenting conflicting statements, the situation remains unclear. It is yet to be determined whether KRK will be found guilty. The case continues to be closely followed by the public.
