Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar really thinks out of the box when it comes to giving charity or service. After portraying the role of a naval officer in ‘Rustom’, the action hero has donated Rs.5 lakhs each family amounting to total Rs.80 lakhs.

He opines that giving medals is not enough as it is practical to think that money is also needed for them. So, he donated money to army jawans. This isn’t the first time Akshay Kumar did such noble work. He donated Rs.90 lakhs to farmers in Maharashtra who were hit by drought.
Many speak about great things. Only a few like Akshay Kumar show it in the form of good deeds. In Bollywood, he is always regarded as a hero with a golden heart. The practicality Akshay showed should be embraced by even the State. Mere appreciation in the form of medals isn’t enough.
