David Dhawan’s new film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai went on floors a long time ago. It features Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in the lead, and the crew is now traveling to Scotland on April 22, 2025, for a month-long shoot.
Notably, half of the film’s shoot is already complete, and the Scotland schedule will include filming of two songs alongside other important sequences.

An insider claimed that the film has an ensemble cast alongside the three main leads, including popular faces such as Maniesh Paul, Mouni Roy, Rakesh Bedi, Chunkey Pandey, and more. The Scotland schedule will additionally mark the end of the film’s shooting.
Ramesh Taurani serves as a producer, and it will feature comedy elements that are usually an important part of David’s films. Meanwhile, a release date for the film is yet to be confirmed.

Although David’s work has received praise over the years, a question remains on whether audiences would come to see Varun’s film, specifically after the failure of Baby John. Moreover, Varun’s work in comedy has also been criticized over the years as it resembles Govinda and Salman Khan.
However, David has possibly done his best as a father and given some advice to Varun to be as real as possible. Talking about the female leads, although Mrunal has managed to deliver some hits, Pooja has been going through a bad phase since 2022.

Meanwhile, the makers have to focus on a good promotion strategy and prepare an entertaining trailer so that it can pull audiences to the big screen. Let’s see if Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai manages to leave an impression.
