Raghav Juyal, known for Bastards of Bollywood, continues to grow his acting career with a major new project. He first gained popularity through dance reality shows like Dance India Dance and Dance Plus. His transition from dance to acting has kept him in the spotlight.
According to reports, Raghav Juyal has joined Nitesh Tiwari’s film Ramayana. He will play Meghanad, also known as Indrajit, the son of Ravana. The character is expected to appear in the second part, scheduled for a Diwali 2027 release.
Raghav Juyal’s recent visibility through Bastards of Bollywood helped him gain attention beyond his dancing image. However, Ramayana is seen as one of the biggest opportunities of his career. The scale of the project adds to the pressure and expectations.
Meghanad is a crucial character in the epic, known as a powerful warrior who fought Ram and Lakshman. The role demands depth and strong screen presence. Playing such a mythological character will test Raghav’s acting range.
Reports also suggest that Vikrant Massey was earlier considered for the role. The makers later approached Raghav Juyal. He is expected to begin shooting after recovering from a reported injury.
The film features a large cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. While the film is mounted on a grand scale with heavy visual effects, audience response will depend on storytelling and performances.
