A massive historical epic featuring Kartik Aaryan and Ranveer Singh could reportedly be in the works. If recent reports are accurate, the film could become one of the biggest and most ambitious projects in the careers of both actors.
Bhushan Kumar has reportedly approached Ranveer Singh for a two-hero historical fiction film set against the backdrop of the Gondwana tribe. The project is said to be planned on a huge budget of around ₹700 crore, making it a major cinematic venture.
According to reports, the story revolves around two brothers who eventually become fierce rivals. Rather than being a traditional historical drama, the film is expected to combine history, mythology and fantasy to deliver a grand cinematic experience.
Kartik Aaryan is reportedly in talks to play the younger brother, while Ranveer Singh is being considered for the elder sibling. If the casting is finalised, the film could feature an exciting face-off between two actors known for their distinct screen presence.
The reported scale of the project is also significant for Bhushan Kumar. He is said to be developing it as his own version of Love & War. The ambitious production could become one of the biggest films under his banner.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, is also being mounted as a grand period drama. Reports suggest that its budget has increased considerably during production.
The project would also strengthen the ongoing collaboration between Bhushan Kumar and Kartik Aaryan. The actor already has several films lined up with T-Series, including his Anurag Basu romantic musical and Captain India.
For Ranveer Singh, a film of this scale would fit well with the larger-than-life roles that have defined much of his career. After Dhurandhar, it will also be interesting to see how he performs in different genres.
