Reports on social media claim that Salman Khan’s film Battle of GALWAN has been delayed indefinitely. The delay reportedly happened after the actor expressed concerns about the first version of the film. The project is considered an important release for Salman Khan.
According to industry sources, Salman Khan watched the initial cut of Battle of GALWAN in January. The actor was reportedly unhappy with the final output. Some people present at the screening felt the film looked slow and outdated.
The situation became more complicated when distributors watched the film. Several distributors reportedly declined to buy it at the expected price. They were not impressed with the film and showed little interest in acquiring distribution rights.
Early promotional material also received a negative reaction online. The first posters and videos were widely criticised on social media. Many users trolled the visuals and commented on Salman Khan’s expressions and overall effort.
Salman Khan is said to be aware of the film’s importance for his reputation. Because of this, the actor reportedly decided to reshoot a large portion of the film. In the last two months, around 40 percent or more of the movie has been shot again.
The actor has also suggested several script changes and requested additional scenes. The makers are working on improving the film’s overall impact. At present, there is no confirmed release date for Battle of GALWAN.
Sources say Salman Khan does not want to release the film until he is fully satisfied with the final version. The team continues to work on revisions and reshoots. The makers hope the changes will strengthen the project.
