Shahrukh Khan is seen self-flagellating as a part of the tradition of Shia Muslims during Moharram. We see young Raees Khan beating himself up with a whip of blades obviously and gradually turning into an adult, Shahrukh Khan doing the same, self-flagellation, bleeding his back because of the act.
