The teaser offered only brief glimpses of the characters, with Arijit Singh’s voice and A. R. Rahman’s music setting the tone. Within hours, it crossed 1 million views, sparking strong excitement among fans.
The story follows Shankar (Dhanush) and Mukti (Kriti). In the teaser, Shankar interrupts Mukti’s pre-wedding ceremony and pours ganga jal on her, hinting at themes of love, sin, and redemption. Dhanush’s powerful dialogue has struck a chord with young audiences.
Fans are especially eager to see Dhanush reunite with Anand after their cult hit Raanjhanaa (2013). Many online users said the teaser felt like a nostalgic return to that era, with Rahman’s music adding to the impact.
