After her comeback film ‘English Vinglish’, Sridevi is taking every project slow and is no mood to make haste. After her unsuccessful stint in Tamil with Vijay’s ‘Puli’, she is coming up with an emotional drama in Hindi, ‘Mom’.

This film is said to have the basic plot which revolves around the theme of rape. Sridevi is playing the titular role as the mother. As the film is made under the home production of her husband Boney Kapoor, they have planned a special promotional strategy for the film’s publicity.
Interestingly, another film ‘Maatr’ starring yesteryear heroine Raveena Tandon is coming which also revolves around the theme of rape. So, it is said that there is a similarity between the two films. We don’t know whether the similarities do exist or not, but senior audiences are longing to see these senior actors back on screen in pivotal roles.
