The film ‘Ghost House’ literally shocked the chief of the Central Board of Film Certification because the sleazy content was added to the film after the film’s certification, the part which was not censored by the CBFC.

As the producer-director Kanthi Shah was unavailable, CBFC chief Pehlaj Nihalani filed a FIR against the producer-director for adding the sleazy content, breaching the rules of certification. It’s not just a few minutes run time, but 80% of the content was added after it was certified.
This movie is played in some theatres in North India where even the distributors were shocked to see vulgar content in this horror flick. This kind of malpractice isn’t new to CBFC but adding 80% content after certification is certainly a big thing to ignore. So, Pehlaj Nihalani took immediate action and lodged a case against it.
