In a tweet, they questioned the permissibility of such behavior in Ulhasnagar, specifically referring to the incident as “nonsense allowed in the name of entertainment.” They further requested the authorities to take strict measures, including the deletion of related social media content, to prevent the encouragement of further public recklessness. The Maharashtra Director General of Police was also tagged in the tweet.
The Thane police swiftly responded to the complaint and have forwarded the matter to the local traffic police for further investigation and necessary action. Recognizing the severity of the incident, an official from the Ulhasnagar police station confirmed that a case has been registered against the individuals featured in the video—both the man and the woman.
