₹1000 crore films are a dream for any star in Telugu cinema, and for that matter, any star in India. It is like a wild dream coming true.
Both Jr NTR and Ram Charan achieved this ₹1000 crore mark, but the credit largely went to S. S. Rajamouli for RRR, as it was not a solo hero film.
On the other hand, Prabhas already has two ₹1000 crore films, and Allu Arjun has one under his belt from the Telugu industry.
So when we look at who can reach ₹1000 crore with their next films, Prabhas looks the most likely. He has two high-potential pan-India projects, one with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Spirit, and another being the sequel to Kalki. Both have a strong chance of hitting ₹1000 crore.
When it comes to NTR, even though he is teaming up with Prashanth Neel for Dragon, ₹1000 crore looks like a long shot, even if the film becomes a blockbuster, as it lacks strong Hindi pull (at least that’s the impression for now).
The same applies to Ram Charan. His next film Peddi is ruled out, and even his project with Sukumar looks like a distant shot for ₹1000 crore.
After Prabhas, it is only Allu Arjun who has a real chance again with Raaka. The film has potential in the North market, with Tamil being an added advantage, but it needs to truly surprise and deliver big to reach that mark.
