14 daughters &1 son, pregnant again for son

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Selfie with daughter campaign is going viral everywhere. A couple in Gujarat ended up having 14 daughter as they waited for a male child. Finally the couple have a boy two years ago and the mother is pregnant once again.

The couple want another boy so that both the boys will help the family to look after the daughters. The man, Ramsinh Sangod is a farmer from Jharibhujhi village in Gujarat’s Dahod district. According to the village custom, the brother has a big role to play in his sister’s lives.

During the weddings of the sister’s children, the brother must give expensive gifts. The couple feels one boy can not look after the families of their daughters and so are trying to have a second son who can share the load. The couple have got married two of their daughters so far.
