144 days means nearly 5 months and to get forgiveness of so many days isn’t a normal feat for any commoner. Since Sanjay Dutt is a superstar and very popular, it seems like he is favoured compared to other prisoners.

Whatever might be the inside thing, the fact is that the Bollywood superstar got 144 days remission from his jail sentence for the good behaviour while serving his jail term. So he is coming out very soon.

There had been a talk that Sanjay Dutt may get extra punishment for not reporting in time after his last furlough. But the jail authorities put the blame that it is their fault not to take the decision in time regarding extension of his furlough.
