Going by the clichéd standards of being a hero on screen in a movie, an actor must be tall, hansome, fair-skinned etc. But Dhanush is unlike these conventional stereotypes. His looks are different and the content he chooses is also different. It is understood that he chooses whatever excites him instead of formulaic concepts.
His co-stars are happy too because in most of his films, even the female leads have key roles, not just running around the trees singing romantic songs characters. Both Amy and Samantha have enviable line up of films in their kitty choosing the best ones from the ones they are being offered.
