H1B visa fraud – Brothers get 20 years jail

Two Indian American Brothers, Atul Nanda, 46, and Jiten “Jay” Nanda, 44 have been sentenced maximum upto 20years and a fine of USD 250,000. Both have been convicted by H-1B visa fraud. They started a company called Dibon Solutions in Texas as an information technology consulting company.

They recruited the cream talent from India to the Dibon solutions in way of sponsoring H-1B visa showing them annual salary and full-time positions in the visa paperwork. After their arrival, they have been into the service of Third Party companies located across U.S. However, Dibon solutions would pay the workers for their time spent on third party Companies in hourly basis whereas third party company will pay Dibon for their regular hours. This way they made enormous profits.

U.S. judiciary is all set to forfeit Nanda’s land, spacious house in Frisco, Texas, with a home movie theater, gym, large windows and soaring ceilings on a palm tree landscaped property which is expected to fetch around nearly $2 million as per market rate.
