30 Crore deal is on for Rajnikanth’s ‘Lingaa’!

Animated film ‘Vikrama Simha’, which recently hit the screens, turned out to be a major disappointment for Rajni fans and the folks in Tollywood trade. However, the well-known Superstar’s craze hasn’t gone down by an inch, rather the craze for the film is skyrocketing. ‘Lingaa’ is still in its early days of shoot but the negotiations for its dubbing rights have already begun. It is said that a few offers were made around 30 Crores, which is higher than what Rajni’s previous hit film ‘Robot’ fetched which was 27Crs.

Adding to Rajnikanth’s craze, having the popular actress Anushka shetty as one of the leading ladies in the film turns out to be an added bonus. Going by the early trade buzz, it looks like the fans of ‘Thalaivar’ want to see him flesh and blood. ‘Lingaa’ is being directed by KS Ravi Kumar and the music has been scored by A R Rahman.
