Basil Joseph is one of the talented youngsters in Malayalam cinema, and he has the reputation of making good quality commercial cinema. Minnal Murali is an example of the same.
Now, Allu Arjun is apparently contemplating a collaboration with Basil and this could materialize in the future. If this combination really does happen, then there is the obvious aspect of box office explosion in Malayalam.
Allu Arjun is already a big deal here and on top of that Basil has the ability to sculpt big films. So this combination could very well kickstart a massive fire storm in Malayalam cinema.
But the problem is within the nativity factor for Telugu audience as we don’t know if basil can suit the nativity of the Telugu folk with his style of making. At the end of the day, Malayalam kind of cinema making does not suit the Telugu masses at large and certain cosmetic changes will have to be made.
