Can Allu Arjun replace Mahesh Babu and NTR?

Stylish Star Allu Arjun who is on a career high with the bumper success of Race Gurram is now going to add another feather in his cap. He is going to be the first actor among his generation to play a historical character that is based on a real figure. Well one might have guessed it already we are talking about the actor playing Gonna Ganna Reddy in the film Rudrama Devi directed by Gunasekhar. The director says he is going to make the role most memorable one in the career of Allu Arjun. We would like to leave that for some other day.

So where exactly does Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR fit into this and how exactly is Allu Arjun replacing them? Well, the role of Gona Ganna Reddy and a film on him has been in news from almost a decade. Director Gunasekhar has been wanting to make a film on this historical figure from a long time and over the years Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR were the only two actors associated with this film. Now after all this years when the character is actually going to make it to the screens Allu Arjun has replaced them, something which no one had ever imagined. Will it be a good decision we have to wait and see.
