The story of Pushpa focuses on the smuggling of red sandalwood, a narrative that was both engaging and unique.
Now there are reports that Anushka Shetty is venturing into a similar genre with her upcoming film Ghaati.

The movie, directed by Krish, will have Anushka playing the role of a ganja (cannabis) smuggler, a tribal woman dealing with both professional and personal struggles. The film is said to have a revenge element as well.
We have to see if the audience accepts the rise of a female gangster like they embraced Allu Arjun in the role of a red sandalwood smuggler in Pushpa.

The shooting of Ghaati has been completed, and it will be released as a pan-India film, much like Pushpa.
Ghaati will be released on April 18 in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
