AP girl tops Telangana EAMCET with Full marks!

U Priyanka hailing from Prakasam district created history by scoring 160/160 in the first ever EAMCET test of Telangana. Both the Telugu states are having different EAMCET examinations this year. Students are usually attempting both the tests.

Telangana students bagged eight out of top ten ranks in the engineering stream while five students from Andhra Pradesh made it to the top 10 in the medical stream in the results declared by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU)-Hyderabad on Thursday.

However most of these top rankers do not pursue admissions in AP or Telangana. They will be usually opting for seats in national institutions. Priyanka who topped Telangana EAMCET (Medical) said that she hopes to join AIIMS and pursue a specialisation in cardiology.
