Music composer A.R. Rahman’s son and singer A.R. Ameen met with a car accident. The accident took place near Olympia Tech Park in the Guindy area Chennai.
According to a source, the accident occurred while A.R. Ameen was travelling from Koyambedu towards the city. His Porsche reportedly collided with a Wagon-R near the busy Kathipara flyover. Both Ameen and his friend sustained minor injuries and were rushed to Kauvery Hospital for medical treatment.
Thankfully, there were no major casualties reported in the incident, and the two were later discharged. The person travelling in the Wagon-R, who also sustained injuries in the accident, was taken to Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital. The occupants of the vehicle were subsequently discharged after receiving medical attention.
Chennai traffic police have reportedly launched an investigation into the accident to determine the exact cause of the collision.
