Maestro Turns Brand Ambassador For A State

Music Maestro, often referred to Mozart of Madras, legend AR Rahman has been appointed as brand ambassador for the government of Sikkim. He was earlier chosen as the face of Tourism and Business.

Chief Secretary AK Srivastava has issued a notification to this effect. AR Rahman, as the ambassador, will be promoting the state nationally and internationally. Sikkim is a state with natural beauty and is a popular tourist destination. Rahman’s association must have been beneficial, in the past, to get this latest extension.

Professionally, AR Rahman is going great gun with multiple projects in his kitty. He is working on some of the biggest movies of our times. Rahman also is active on the international front with Hollywood productions even in sight.
