The mortal remains of Asha ji will be kept at her Mumbai residence on Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for relatives and fans to pay their respects. Her funeral is expected to take place around 4 p.m. at Shivaji Park, Mumbai.

Anand Bhosle, son of the late singer, confirmed her demise to a news agency. He stated that she passed away due to multiple organ failure. Earlier, her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle had shared that the singer was undergoing treatment and requested privacy.

Born into a musical family, Asha Bhosle and Lata Mangeshkar built remarkable careers in Indian music. Their voices defined generations and created timeless classics that continue to resonate with listeners across languages and regions.
