The trend of re-releasing Telugu films has grown steadily in recent years, but now it’s reaching a new milestone. SS Rajamouli, who redefined Indian cinema with his Baahubali series, is ready to deliver something grand once again.

For the first time ever, both parts of Baahubali are being merged into a single film titled Baahubali: The Epic. This marks a historic moment in Indian cinema, as the two-part saga returns as one complete movie.

Rajamouli and his team have worked meticulously on this project, treating it not as a simple re-release but as a fresh cinematic experience. The team spent several weeks on re-editing to ensure the storytelling feels new and engaging.

The combined film, running for three hours and thirty minutes, is set to release on October 31. Advance bookings have already opened across India and overseas, including the United States, receiving a phenomenal response from audiences.

In Telugu states, tickets are selling out fast, with many shows already houseful. The excitement around Baahubali: The Epic is massive, especially after the release of its new trailer, which teases a grand, immersive cinematic journey.

Trade experts predict that this re-release could set new benchmarks for Indian cinema. Early box office forecasts suggest that Baahubali: The Epic could earn over Rs. 100 crores in its re-release run  a record for any re-released film in India.

Currently, Baahubali 2 has grossed Rs. 1,810 crores worldwide. With another Rs. 190 crores, the franchise will cross the historic Rs. 2,000-crore mark  becoming only the second Indian film after Dangal to achieve this feat.

While reaching Rs. 190 crores with a re-release may sound challenging, fans believe nothing is impossible for Baahubali. Having already broken numerous records, the film now aims to cross another monumental milestone  the 2000-crore mark.
