Surya Samanta starrer ‘Sikinder’ was expected to wash away all the small films in the race. But since Surya’s film couldn’t live up to the expectations, small films like ‘Galipatam’ and ‘Lovers’ are making merry at the box-office. Indeed Saptagiri and the comedy is saving ‘Lovers’ more than romance. In case of ‘Galipatam’, the simplicity of the script without much over dramatic content is helping it big way. At this juncture director Naveen Gandhi took a thoughful decision.
To make the film more palpable to the family audience, he trimmed the lip lock scenes between Aadi and Kristina Ateeva. He felt that the lip lock scenes have become a hitch in the flow of the movie and seem unnecessary and hence removed them. This way he is making the movie closer to family audience. Kissing scenes are expected to pull crowds to the theatres. Here the situation has reversed and Naveen Gandhi’s idea is surely going to pay off.
