Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Bhai is all set for release this Friday. Akkineni fans have pinned high hopes on this comedy entertainer. However, there is a hidden secret about the movie. Sources in Filmnagar tells us that the movie is a remake of Malayalam film, Teja Bhai and family. Prithvi Raj starred in the movie which received mixed reviews when released in 2011 and ended up as an average grosser.
However Veerabhadram had made some changes to the movie and may be that’s the reason why he is not claiming it as a remake. Sources also say no payment is made towards the remake rights of the movie. Hence the movie can be called as a Freemake. It is known that Nagarjuna is also producing the movie under his Annapurna Studios banner. Nag is so confident of the movie that he is distributing himself the movie in Uttarandhra region.
