Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi is emerging as much more than a box-office success. According to the film’s team, it has become a movie that is sparking conversations among families and inspiring audiences of all ages.
Director Buchi Babu shared several memorable experiences since the film’s release. One of the most emotional came when an auto driver and his mother approached him to express their gratitude. The mother revealed that she had not stepped into a cinema hall for nearly twenty years before watching Peddi.
The filmmaker also offered insights into the creative process behind Ram Charan’s transformation. To develop the wrestler’s look, Charan sought detailed visual references. National Award-winning makeup artist Pattanam Rasheed, who worked on Kamal Haasan’s iconic Bharatheeyudu look, created concept sketches that eventually shaped the character’s final appearance in Peddi.
“Ram Charan worked extremely hard for the film. He showed complete dedication in undergoing the transformation required for the wrestler’s character. He immersed himself fully in the role and delivered the best performance of his career to date,” Buchi Babu said.
Producer Venkata Satish Kilaru stated that the film’s collections are expected to grow further, with reduced ticket prices coming into effect from today.
