Bhumika Opens up on Side-Kick Roles

Bhumika Chawla became a huge sensation after the success of some of her Hindi and Telugu films. But after the birth of her son Yash she took a gap of two years and kept away from the industry.

She has now moved to Mumbai and has started her new innings as an actor. The change this time around is that she is doing character roles. Bhumika will be next seen in a very important film called M S Dhoni. She plays Sushanth Singh Rajput’s sister and is quite excited about her role.

On being asked why is she doing sister roles she quips “what’s wrong in doing such roles. Even a star like Priyanka Chopra played Ranveer’s sister and later romanced him in Bajirao Mastani”.

Adding further Bhumika says that she is quite okay to do such roles as long as her character is interesting and makes an impact. She is ready for such roles and is looking to play some decent parts in the forthcoming films in the south as well. Dhoni is all set to release this week.
